GrooveShop, a multi-tenant commerce platform

GrooveShop is the e-commerce platform I've been building for more than four years. One deployment runs many stores: each gets its own database schema, domain, theme, and payment and courier credentials, and turns features such as loyalty, gift cards or B2B on and off.

One platform, many stores

A request's host name selects the store's own PostgreSQL schema, so stores share code and infrastructure but never data. A control plane provisions stores, bills them and suspends them, and every release migrates all of them in one tenant-aware step before it goes live. Four stores run on it today, the demo among them.

Commerce, built in

A rule-based promotion engine with coupons and automatic discounts, stored-value gift cards with a ledger, loyalty points with tiers, and a wholesale programme with VIES VAT validation and group pricing. Payments go through Viva Wallet or Stripe, or cash on delivery; shipping through ACS and BoxNow. Search is Meilisearch with Greeklish transliteration, so a Greek product is found when typed in Latin letters, and order updates reach the browser over WebSockets.

Shoppable by AI agents

A Go gateway makes every store usable by AI agents: an MCP server with commerce tools for search, cart, checkout and order tracking, UCP and ACP endpoints for agentic checkout, product feeds for Google Merchant, Meta and TikTok, and the backend of the storefront's own shopping chatbot.

The services

A Django REST API holds the business logic and data. The Nuxt 4 storefront renders on the server, and its Nitro layer validates every request with Zod before proxying it to Django. A NestJS service resizes and serves images, the Go gateway serves agents, and a documentation site covers both the admin panel and the internals.
